Sarah SzeForever is Composed of Nows
A site-specific atrium commission of three new paintings, video projections and pulsing soundscapes across several floors.
Sze turns the museum’s Haas Atrium into a shifting landscape of light, sound and movement. Three new monumental paintings sit within a flow of video projections and rhythmic soundscapes that reach across several spaces and floors.
The work draws on the ephemerality of images, the fragility of nature and the passage of time. Its title comes from a 19th-century Emily Dickinson poem. The atrium installation is free to the public.
