Kevin McMahonSomething from SCI-Arc: Six Decades of Graphics for Public Programs

More than fifty framed printed graphics from SCI-Arc’s archives, made for the school’s public programs over six decades.

Drawn from the Kappe Library’s archival collections, the framed flat works serve as both artifacts and art. They trace shifts in architectural discourse since the late 20th century and the parallel evolution of Southern California graphic design.

Billed as the first comprehensive exhibition of SCI-Arc graphics, it reflects McMahon’s decade of work preserving and opening up the archive. He has worked at the school since 1984 and retires at the end of Spring ’27.
