Dominique Jakob + Brendan MacFarlaneLiving With… Comes to SCI-Arc

An architecture exhibition of 50 open-call designs and student projects responding to climate change, conflict and displacement.

Living With first appeared in the French Pavilion at the 2025 Venice Architecture Biennale, curated by Jakob + MacFarlane. It brings together 50 designs chosen from over 300 submissions, plus work from students at eight architecture schools, grouped under six themes such as living with the broken, with nature and with vulnerabilities.

The display is built on circular principles and adapts to each space, with project details available through QR codes. After stops in Brazil, Chicago, Saudi Arabia, France and New Zealand, Los Angeles is the next venue. MacFarlane is a SCI-Arc alumnus.
