Large canvases printed by hand from the doors of shipping containers, organized with Manila and New York gallery Silverlens.

Coson, a Filipino artist based in London, bought disused container doors as scrap, inked them in full, and pressed unstretched canvas over them with her body and tools such as wooden spoons. The prints, her largest series so far, record handles, hinges, cracks and stenciled numbers and wrap the gallery walls.

The show reflects on global shipping and trade, staged in the port city of Los Angeles.
