Recent photographs of abandoned welding and wood shops near Kingston, New York, rearranged by the artist.
Over eighteen months Meeks photographed derelict work buildings in the hamlet of Cranesville, building temporary sculptures from the leftover tools and scrap for the camera. Prints on paper, transparency and old book pages hang on the walls and lie on rough tables alongside debris from the site.
A few pictures from earlier series, including The Inhabitants and Halfstory Halflife, round out the show.
