Power of Mystery: 100 Years

Robert Koch Gallery

Sep 17 – Nov 28, 2026 Union Square

A century of photographs that leave something unexplained.

Drawn from the gallery’s own inventory, the show gathers forty-five photographers around images that resist a quick reading, from Surrealist and modernist experiments of the 1920s and ’30s to street photography and recent work.

André Kertész, Helen Levitt, Josef Koudelka, Josef Sudek, Ruth Bernhard and Alex Webb are among them.
