Chiara BettazziFuori Quadro

A solo show by the Prato artist Chiara Bettazzi, whose photographs and installations work with everyday objects and the city’s former industrial sites.

Bettazzi, born in Prato in 1977 and still based there, makes photographs and often site-specific installations from everyday objects, gathered and discarded, in close dialogue with the space and daylight of the places she uses. In 2015 she set up Tuscan Art Industry, an observatory on the reuse of the area’s industrial buildings. Curated by Benedetta Casini.
