Ella LittwitzSalt
Sculptures, works on paper and a sound installation drawing on the Dead Sea and Mount Sodom landscape.
Littwitz’s first solo show in Rome, curated by Micol Di Veroli, centers on the Dead Sea and Mount Sodom, where geology, myth, religion and history are layered together. It sets human time, which orders the world and preserves its traces, against the slow transformation of matter.
The show offers no single truth about the territory, asking instead how much of what we take as stable is simply change too slow to see.
