Sergey KononovMémoires
New oil paintings of Kononov’s friends, lovers and family, worked up from photographs he took over the past five years.
Kononov, born in Odesa in 1994 and based in Paris, paints couples embracing, figures lost in daydreams and his grandmother lying on a floral quilt. In Svitlana and Slavik (2026) two entwined bodies float on a flat green ground; Nuit Blanche (2026) tries out an almost all-white palette. It is his second show with the gallery and his first in its Paris space.
