The first solo show of Krasner’s work in France: paintings and works on paper from the 1960s, building to the large canvas Comet.

Presented with Olney Gleason and the Pollock-Krasner Foundation, the show looks at a decade of experiment and reinvention, when Krasner worked at unprecedented scale and with restricted palettes, sometimes applying paint straight from the tube, in the Umber paintings and the Primary Series.

It builds to Comet (1966–70), lent by the Pollock-Krasner Foundation, and includes gouaches from 1969. It opens ahead of Art Basel Paris and alongside the Metropolitan Museum’s Krasner and Pollock: Past Continuous in New York.
