Sep 24, 2026 – Jan 31, 2027 Marais
About thirty artists from the Centre Pompidou’s collection on obscure and overlooked lives, shown in the nave of the Panthéon.
Named after Pierre Michon’s 1984 book of portraits of unknown people, the show covers more than a century in three sections, from František Kupka to Jumana Manna. Works include Christian Boltanski’s installation Monument (1986), Mathieu Pernot’s Photomatons (1995–1997), two films by Teo Hernandez and Clarisse Hahn’s sculpture Pierre (2015), with Adrianna Wallis’s readings of undeliverable letters.
