Ron MorosanCircular Causality
Recent layered, horizontally banded paintings by Ron Morosan that mix geometric forms, ambiguous figures and cultural references.
Morosan’s paintings from 2018 to 2026 are built in stacked horizontal registers, with stone-like bars that frame, divide and withhold the scene. He describes them as half landscape and half narrative still life, joining urban materials with imagined settings.
References range from Duchamp and De Chirico to technology and popular culture, left deliberately open so the viewer decides how they connect. Curated by James Cavello, the show comes from an artist represented exclusively by the gallery.
