Paintings, photographs and a bronze of the human face and figure, from Picasso and Giacometti to artists working today.
The show brings together portraits and figures from the twentieth century to now, in oil, pastel, silkscreen, photography and bronze. Works range from Giacometti’s 1954 studio nude, Léger’s acrobats and Picasso’s 1967 double head to Basquiat’s Thermopolae, Baselitz’s Franz im Bett and de Kooning’s Large Torso.
Later and recent pieces include Cindy Sherman’s Untitled #213, Richard Prince, Martin Kippenberger, Eric Fischl’s 2025 Footsies and a 2026 canvas by Cristina BanBan. A Warhol portrait of Joseph Beuys is also on the page.
