Eileen QuinlanLine Call
Sep 10 – Oct 31, 2026 Lower East Side
Twenty years of Quinlan’s photographs, from processed abstractions to unaltered snapshots of friends, family and home, in her eighth solo show with the gallery.
Older pictures, several newly printed, hang beside work shown for the first time, including snapshots of friends, family and private rooms that, unlike her heavily processed digital pieces, are left unaltered.
Lines recur throughout, tracing a contour in one image, cropping up by chance in another. The newest pieces are inkjet prints on mirror whose images spill past their aluminum frames; a nine-part spray-painted panel made with B. McLister also appears.
