Group exhibition

ANTHROPOCENE

Erica Bailey, Patrick Ryan Bell, Laura Bell, Denita Benyshek, Taylor Bielecki and others

A group show in various media, from abstraction to conceptual representation, on humanity’s impact on the planet.

Thirty-two artists contribute work in a range of media, running from abstraction to abstracted, conceptual representation. Each shines a light on the effects of human existence on the Earth.

The title borrows the term for a proposed geological epoch in which humanity acts as a planetary force of change, a idea common in scientific and social debate about the accelerating changes of the 20th and 21st centuries. Priska Juschka conceived and curated the show.
