Eight artists show sculpture, photography, printmaking, film and video about borders as places of rupture, carrying and repair.

The show brings together eight artists, most of them ISCP residency alumni, who look at what happens around and across borders rather than at the lines themselves. Using abstraction, fragmentation and acts of repair, their works trace displacement, extraction and colonial violence through materials, landscapes and memory.

The title comes from Gloria Anzaldúa’s Borderlands/La Frontera (1987). Curated by Melinda Lang, it includes a reading area and an illustrated catalogue with an essay by Lang.
