Lee Bul’s first show with the gallery, centered on a vast zeppelin-like balloon sculpture, with new mother-of-pearl paintings and new sculptures.

Floating in the ground-floor gallery is Willing To Be Vulnerable—Metalized Balloon (2015–2016/2020), a zeppelin-like balloon of fabric and PET film. Around it are new paintings from the Velvet series, which layer photographs of her own sculptures, studio scraps and cut mother-of-pearl on silk velvet; new Perdu works, with mother-of-pearl set in layers of sanded acrylic; and new sculptures. The guest curator is Jiyoon Lee.
