Paintings, wall assemblages, silvered glass and video by four artists who loosen the tie between signs and their meanings.

The show gathers four artists whose work pulls symbols away from their meanings. Richard Aldrich shows paintings in oil and wax; Steffani Jemison, works in silvered glass and graphite and her 2025 video Bridge; Helen Marten, wall assemblages of painted fabric, drawings, cast aluminum and wood; and Walter Price, new paintings in acrylic and gesso.

Marten’s new essay, also titled ABC Powder, accompanies the show.
