Mixed-media collage panels, ink and acrylic drawings of trees, and New York street photography, all on the idea of human nature.

Karen Gibbons uses collage, mixed media and multiple panels to probe supposed divisions between people and nature, and between opposites such as feminine and masculine or visible and hidden. Robin Roi’s ink and acrylic pieces on paper double a drawn tree into a Rorschach-like pattern that recalls lungs, made while her husband was ill with COVID, with a green companion piece after his recovery.

David Stock’s photographs treat New York City as raw material, including Stormy, a Times Square demonstration beneath a giant billboard of mountains and a waterfall.
