A retrospective of more than sixty mostly white, square paintings by Robert Ryman, made from the mid-1950s to the early 2010s.

The show gathers over sixty works by the American painter, who held that a painting has to be seen in person. His mostly white, square-format pieces draw attention to paint texture, brushwork, the support and how each work hangs on the wall.

Visitors are invited to look slowly at the similarities and differences between works and at how they respond to the light and space around them.
