Painting, abstraction, figuration and performative mark-making by Norwegian and American artists, on memory, the body and materiality.

The second part of an exchange between the Møre and Romsdal Art Center in Molde, Norway, and the Torrance Art Museum, curated by TAM with Jet Pascua. Artists from both sides of the world work in painting, abstraction, gesture and figuration, as well as performative mark-making.

The show looks at how marks and forms carry personal, cultural and aesthetic histories, and how remembered experience is inscribed onto surfaces, spaces and bodies.
