Liliana D’AmbrosioMemorial Retrospective for Liliana D’Ambrosio
A memorial retrospective of Liliana D’Ambrosio’s abstract acrylic paintings on canvas, some with collage.
D’Ambrosio, born in Irpinia, Italy, in 1951, trained at the Art School of Avellino and later lived in Florence and California. Her acrylic paintings treat abstraction in relation to music and are meant to stay in a constant state of change rather than reach a fixed conclusion.
The works on her page include Women in Colors, Poseidonia, Middle East and Pomegranate Harvest, some made with collage, drawing on her travels in Europe, India, Africa and the Middle East.
