Angélique Glennon
Paintings and sculptural jewelry she calls Newelry, made from seeds, wires and reused materials, shown with matching paintings.
Glennon, a Santa Monica artist, makes wearable sculptures from seeds, grains, broken guitar strings, phone cables and reused paper. They shrink familiar landscapes such as beaches, golf courses and floating markets, seen from above, down to the scale of jewelry.
Each piece hangs in a custom plexiglass frame beside a matching painting. Her earlier solo shows were in Venice (2012) and Santa Monica (2023).
