New encaustic paintings, woven pipe-cleaner vessels and a site-specific installation by Salvador Domínguez, all built around floral arrangements.

Domínguez’s second solo show with the gallery brings together recent paintings in encaustic and mixed media on panel, small vases and still lifes woven from pipe cleaners, and an installation made for the space. Flower arrangements run through all of it, carrying themes of love, power and pride and mixing craft with artifice and cultural memory. Several panels are titled as homages to painters, among them Manet and Ambrosius Bosschaert the Elder.
