Miyamura shifts style from work to work: near-symmetrical geometric paintings, abstractions built on meeting arcs, word pictures, sunken reliefs of receding chevrons, and small, exact oil scenes peopled by miniatures from the British tabletop game Warhammer. The show is set up as a puzzle of clues and doubles.

Miyamura was born in Kailua, Hawaii, and lives in Brooklyn.
