Hamburger Bahnhof – Nationalgalerie der Gegenwart

Jul 3, 2026 – Mar 14, 2027 Moabit

Sculptures and site-specific installations by eight women sculptors from Leipzig who work together as the collective [ materialistin ].

Laura Eckert, Enne Haehnle, Elisabeth Howey, Lucy König, Agnes Lammert, Wibke Rahn, Theresa Rothe and Sophie Uchman work in steel, stone, plaster, concrete, plant fibers, wax and clay. The group spans several generations, has no hierarchy, and shares tools, contacts and know-how to meet the physical and financial demands of sculpture, while taking feminist and political positions.
