A Thousand Times Berlin: The Collection

A new presentation of the collection: more than 70 works by over 50 artists on Berlin’s art scene and its ties to the world since 1989.

Paintings, drawings, sculpture, photography and video installations by artists including Katharina Grosse, Mona Hatoum, Rirkrit Tiravanija, Katharina Sieverding, Thomas Struth, Danh Võ and Cemile Sahin take up the city’s division, its club and subculture myths, and migration. Well-known pieces hang beside rarely shown works, loans from the German federal government’s collection and new acquisitions.

Curated by Sam Bardaouil and Charlotte Knaup.
