Kreuzberg: Kunst und Migration seit 1960
Sep 10, 2026 – Jan 17, 2027 Kreuzberg
A group show of about 130 works on labor migration and life in Kreuzberg, from the guest-worker years of the 1960s to today.
Rarely shown historical works by more than 40 artists, among them Vlassis Caniaris, Harun Farocki, Eduardo Paolozzi and Emine Sevgi Özdamar, sit alongside pieces made for the show. They take up exile, housing shortages, racism and exclusion, and also solidarity and community among the so-called guest workers and their children.
Curated by Gürsoy Doğtaş and Patrizia Dander. The Berlin Museum shows a companion exhibition, Life Across, until Feb 7, 2027.
