Tova GalleryThe Game of Nuts

TOVA, Yvonne von Langsdorff, Nano Nasty, Adam Ripley and Vladimir Kordiukov

Sculptural paintings and works on paper by TOVA with photography, painting and assemblage by four other artists, built around the idea of the “nut”.

TOVA Gallery’s show grows from TOVA NUTS™, objects in which an internal painting sits inside a sculptural shell, and from the artist’s research into financial markets. Her Derivatives cycle of works on paper treats signs as meaningful through their position within a larger system.

Yvonne von Langsdorff, Nano Nasty and Adam Ripley each offer their own version of the nut, through Fragile Realism, tactile abstraction and analogue landscape photography. Vladimir Kordiukov’s assemblages come from the TOVA Gallery collection.
