Oct 2 – Nov 29, 2026 Castro

Thirteen Bay Area queer artists respond in varied media to local and national leadership, and imagine a better world.

Thirteen queer artists from around the Bay Area work in different mediums to voice frustration with political leadership, look at its effects on their lives and communities, and draw on past and present inspiration to imagine better futures.

The show fills the Castro storefront that was once Harvey Milk’s camera shop and campaign headquarters. Ace Morgan’s work is in a silent auction for Joan Jett Blakk’s medical bills, sales of Ghee Phua’s work benefit the LGBT Asylum Project and Queer A.F., and Kai Reisa will print the linocut ‘Hope Is A Weapon’ live at the opening.
