Nostalgia

Aaron MacIntyre, Adam Caldwell, Anthony Pinata, Armen Ges, Bud Snow and others

Work by more than fifty California and other artists on nostalgia, from pop-culture icons and music to obsolete technology.

The show gathers over fifty artists from California and beyond, working in a range of media, around longing for the past, whether personal or shared. Works may draw on music, dance, fashion, TV and film, childhood heroes, outmoded gadgets and landmark historical moments.

The gallery frames the theme as a counterweight to an increasingly technological life, with sensory cues from youth triggering joyful memories. The opening reception is free and open to the public.
