An ongoing, by-appointment presentation of still lifes and landscapes by the gallery’s longtime artist.
Staprans, who came to the U.S. from Latvia in 1947 and studied with Hans Hofmann at Berkeley, paints chairs, fruit, buildings and coastal views in flattened, intense color. The selection spans the 1960s to the 2010s.
