The Foster Museum

Dates not published Palo Alto

An interactive environmental exhibition built around Tony Foster’s Falls the Shadow artwork and a tree for visitors’ pledges.

Protecting Place is an educational, participatory call to preserve the planet, prompted by Tony Foster’s Fragile Planet exhibition in England in 2021–22. It features his Falls the Shadow artwork and a theme that rotates every nine to twelve months.

Visitors can write their thoughts and personal pledges to protect the environment on leaves for a tree in the gallery.
