Kevin Cohya ValorDrooling Corner

Recent street photographs of San Francisco’s discarded food, plants, and passersby, shown in dense installation.

Valor photographs San Francisco’s castoffs and incidental moments—dropped food, drought-stricken street plants, cardboard, wires, and people glimpsed on buses and corners—printed mostly at a drugstore in glossy, modestly sized prints.

Shot at odd angles and varying focus, the images treat every subject with equal weight, pairing decay with tenderness and humor. The gallery presents the photographs in abundance, as a single dense installation rather than a curated sequence.
