Industrial Art & Magic: Recent Work from the Marin Model Shop Alumni

Leigh Barbier, Jean Bolte, Robbie Edwards, Dave Fogler, Bill George, Adam Savage and others

Recent paintings, sculpture, scale models and creatures by former members of Industrial Light & Magic’s Marin Model Shop.

More than a dozen alumni of Industrial Light & Magic’s Creature and Model Shops show work made outside the movies. The mix includes paintings, sculpture, finely crafted miniatures, monsters, mixed-media pieces and imaginative constructions, alongside personal projects and new explorations in form and storytelling.

Sixteen artists are named, among them Lorne Peterson, Jeff Mann, Melanie Walas and Michael Murnane, as well as the artists listed above.
