Watercolors of sunrise walks in the Presidio and the Marin Headlands, with fog, light and eucalyptus as subjects.

Sondag paints the places she walks at dawn, many of them along the Presidio’s Ecology Trail and the Morning Sun Trail in the Marin Headlands, where sun and fog linger together. She chooses watercolor for its fit with fleeting subjects such as water, sunlight, wind and fog.

The works on paper range from small studies to larger sheets, and include earlier Bay Area landscapes. She has shown with the gallery before, in Cityscapes in 2021.
