Johan CretenLes Chiens de Pavlov

Perrotin, 8 avenue Matignon

Through Oct 10, 2026

Closed

Ceramic and bronze sculptures, drawings and abstract works, with a wall built from the artist’s late father’s early computers.

Creten’s eleventh show with Perrotin, his sixth in Paris, reworks old and new pieces so that each return changes how they read. At its center is a wall made from his father’s collection of 1980s computers, inherited three years ago.

Ceramic seats dedicated to the seven virtues, the bronze Miami Eagle / Le Con-dort (2002–2026) and works on greed, power and fate lead to a final room of abstract paintings. The show asks viewers to distrust automatic responses.
