Ian Kiaerlibrary house
Oct 20 – Dec 23, 2026 Belleville
New paintings on hanji paper and plexiglas, small models and installations, made in 2026 under the title Library house.
The Library house works are pencil and acrylic drawings on Japanese hanji paper, mounted on linen or set against reclaimed plexiglas, some as large diptychs in blue, pink, green and black. Alongside them are fragile constructions, including a cardboard model with a wasp nest and Villa Magni pieces made of vinyl, cellophane and a fan.
It is Kiaer’s third solo show at Marcelle Alix, after 2017 and 2021.
