Unseen paintings of trees and still lifes made this summer in Gignac, in southern France.

The exhibition brings together new, previously unseen works made largely over the summer of 2026 in Gignac, in the south of France. They return to the two subjects the Hungarian-born, France-based artist has pursued for over fifty years in what he calls his “Research”: trees and the still lifes he terms Vies silencieuses, both approached as a search for the invisible vibration beneath visible appearances.

Hollan has shown with the gallery since 1994.
