Galerie Gimpel & Müller

Oct 1 – 31, 2026 Saint-Germain-des-Prés

Twenty artists of geometric and abstract art, shown through works on paper, bronzes, prints and constructions from the 1920s to 2015.

The show brings together twenty artists linked to geometric abstraction and its neighbours, among them Arp, Herbin, Vasarely, Soto, Marcelle Cahn, Aurélie Nemours and Antonio Calderara. Early gouaches and drawings from the 1920s, including Lajos Kassak, Baugniet and Tutundjian, sit beside later pieces.

Media range from watercolour, ink, pastel and collage to cast bronze, woodcut, screenprint and a steel sculpture by Chantal Atelin from 2015. A catalogue accompanies the exhibition.
