About thirty colored-chalk drawings on paper, each made after a film the artist saw at Bologna’s Cinema Modernissimo.

In 2023 Ricci set out to follow the first year of the reopened Cinema Modernissimo in Bologna by drawing. Each day he watched a film on the programme and made an image from it, shown as a poster at the cinema’s entrance. The 189 posters were gathered in a book published by Cineteca di Bologna in 2025.

The show selects about thirty of these chalk drawings. They are made for viewers who have already seen the film, and keep what remains of the viewing rather than a still: soft, shifting figures between material and shadow.
