New paintings on Financial Times pages showing British imperial battle sites, with a tailor reworking military jackets in the gallery.

Tiravanija paints landscapes and seascapes tied to battles of the British Empire across Asia, Africa, Europe and North America, using the Financial Times’s coverage of the Iran War as his canvas. The sites stand for victories and defeats in the empire’s rise and decline.

A practising tailor deconstructs and reassembles nineteenth-century military jackets in the gallery, which occupies premises once linked to the outfitters Gieves & Hawkes. It is his fifth solo show with Pilar Corrias.
