Lydia Ourahmane5 Works
Nicoletta Fiorucci Foundation, London
May 5 – Nov 22, 2026 Chelsea
Five installations, sculptures and sound or moving-image works by Lydia Ourahmane, shown at the foundation’s Venice space during the Biennale.
Curated by Polly Staple, the show presents Ourahmane’s conceptual practice, in which installation, sculpture, moving image and sound create situations with consequences beyond the institution’s walls. Her work looks at displacement and community, and at how state restrictions and invisible barriers shape the movement of objects and people.
It runs in Venice alongside the 61st Venice Biennale, and her recent presentations have treated the audience as material, subject and author.
