Royal Institute of Oil Painters

Contemporary oil paintings by members of the Royal Institute of Oil Painters and artists chosen from an open call.

The Royal Institute of Oil Painters’ yearly show brings together work by leading painters in the society with non-members selected through an open call. Subjects and approaches vary widely, and the paintings are for sale.

The Winsor & Newton Young Artist Awards are a regular part of the exhibition. The ROI was founded in 1882 and received royal status in 1909.
