Gold-leaf icon-board paintings by Vera Klimentyeva and gilded hawthorn and rose-stem works by Issy Tennant.
Vera Klimentyeva shows 2026 works on icon boards in gold and other precious-metal leaf: a fourteen-part polyptych, Beyond Divine panels in egg tempera and gold leaf, and small Vacuity and Substance panels combining leaf with natural mineral pigments such as lapis lazuli and malachite.
Issy Tennant presents oil-gilded works in 23.5ct gold leaf on hawthorn wood, including the Hawthorn series in single, paired and three-part formats, and a slender gilded rose stem.
