Artistic projects and research made in Spreepark between 2018 and its 2027 reopening, from performances to installations.

The show looks at Spreepark’s years as a closed “Lost Place”, after the amusement park shut and before its reopening as a public site for art, culture and nature. Since 2018 artists have been invited to accompany the transformation, working through performances, installations, research and participatory formats.

It presents a selection of those projects and research processes, asking what the site reveals about its past, about urban society and urban nature, and about its future.
