Galerie Nagel Draxler

Sep 11 – Nov 14, 2026 Mitte

New oil paintings and sculptures by the Danish artist Lone Haugaard Madsen, all from 2026, in the gallery’s Kabinett.

Haugaard Madsen, born in Silkeborg in 1974 and trained in Aarhus and at the Vienna Academy, has long made what she calls “spaces”: groupings of found objects with paintings rubbed onto found canvases.

This series of numbered works, Raum#428-Fumus (1) to (15), pairs raw oil paintings on canvas with a few sculptures, part of a turn toward holding those materials and spaces within the canvas itself.
