Maxi ThomGallery Cabinet
Oct 1 – 31, 2026 Charlottenburg
Figurative oil paintings by Berlin painter Maxi Thom on closeness, distance and gesture between people.
Thom, who is finishing his studies at Kunsthochschule Berlin Weißensee, paints dense, expressive figure compositions set between intimacy and estrangement. His figures negotiate space through small gestures, with the choreography of Pina Bausch and the interiors of Édouard Vuillard as touchstones.
This is his first presentation with the gallery. He is nominated for the 2026 Art Prize of Haus am Kleistpark and appears in the group show FRACTURE there until December 13.
