# *2026 Murphy & Cadogan Contemporary Art Awards Exhibition* Group exhibition · Oct 17 – Nov 15, 2026 · coming up Mingqi Ma, Alyssa Aviles, eva birhanu and others Painting, sculpture, installation, mixed media, drawing and photography by 15 Bay Area MFA graduates honored with this year’s Murphy and Cadogan awards. Curated by Kevin B. Chen, the show marks the fortieth anniversary of the Jack K. and Gertrude Murphy Award and the Edwin Anthony and Adalaine Boudreaux Cadogan Scholarships, which have funded Bay Area master’s students since 1986. The fifteen winners, drawn from schools including California College of the Arts, Stanford, UC Berkeley, San Francisco State and San José State, each show work from their current practice alongside the financial award given with the honor.
