# *Unfinished Lines* Group exhibition · Sep 24 – Oct 24, 2026 · on view · Art of Contemporary Africa Papytsho Mafolo, Hussein Salim, Pascal Konan and Aza Mansongi Mixed-media and acrylic paintings by four African artists, each treating the drawn line as something left open. Four painters from across the African continent each take a different approach to the line: abandoning it mid-stroke, burying it under layers, bleaching it from indigo denim, or looping it with no exit. Their paths run from Kinshasa via Brussels, Khartoum via KwaZulu-Natal, Abidjan, and Kinshasa via Douala. The show takes part in Nexus: SF/Bay Area Black Art Week.
